Nerdery Web Challenge Results
The Nerdery challenge is now over and Malley Design has recovered from a 24 hour design marathon. The non-profit we were paired with was youthperformanceco.org. They are a local performance group that gives teens a chance to stay out of trouble and learn/hone their acting skills. They offer classes, full performance opportunities, and a lively community for teens. Like many non-profits they have been struggling to get any kind of exciting web presence due to lack of funds. We were tasked with giving the site a full makeover as well as getting it off of Joomla and onto WordPress all in 24 hours. We managed to also build some pretty impressive custom post types and data base integration. The new site will be live in a week or so but for now take a look at these before and after shots.
